The Swiss Society of Environmental Engineering SSEE is the technical organization of engineers, scientists, companies and institutions operating in the field of environmental engineering. The SSEE has been founded in 1988 as an independent technical organisation, relieving the Swiss section of the German Society for Environmental Engineering GUS e. V., existing since 1984.

The SSEE is a founder member of CEEES (Confederation of European Environmental Engineering Societies), which is the umbrella organization of the European societies for environmental engineering. The SSEE closely works with the CEEES as well as with the local societies.
