The Dutch branch of Industrial Electronics, approximately 225 companies with combined sales of € 1.4 billion in 2009. 

The market for these companies consists of all possible users of electronics. The applications of electronics in recent decades and thus enhanced the diversity of markets for its members in the sector has increased. 

This diversity is also seen in the members products and services. For recognition within and outside the industry, these companies are organized in clusters.
