BEST/BSMEE sought for association with the “Confederation of European Environmental Engineering Societies – CEEES” and became a full member in 1996. Through the CEEES, members of the different national associations can interact as well as with the IEST (Institute of Environmental Sciences and Technologies) in the US. These international contacts enable the BEST Committee to follow global activities in the field of environmental engineering and disseminate information on this to the Belgian industry.
